QUALITY ASSURANCE

CONUAR’s QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM & MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

CONUAR's Quality Assurance Program is certified by ASME according to ASME BPVC Sec. III, subsection NCA-4000 requirements, being N, NPT, NA and NS active certificate holder and Material Organization.
QAP is also implemented according to requirements of 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR Part 21, NIAC audited, for manufacturing and supplying safety related components.
CONUAR’s QAP also meets requirements of CSA N299 and CSA N285.0
CONUAR's Integrated Management System is certified by TÜV Rheinland according to requirements: ISO 9001:2015 Quality, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental.

CONUAR supplied and manufactured for Nucleoeléctrica Argentina SA following channel components, tubes, supports and services:

- 380 Pressure Tubes
- 380 Calandria Tubes
- 780 End Fitting Assemblies
- 780 Channel Closure Plugs
- 780 Shielding Plugs
- Full Set of Feeders manufactured at Embalse Site, its Supports and the Assembly of those components at Faces A & B of the Reactor
- Manufactured & supplied the new Moderator Heat Exchangers, including the new sets of U-tubes made of Duplex
- Two sets of new alloy 800 U-tubes for the new Steam Generators

Whole processes were Qualified, Certified & Audited by AECL then by CANDU Energy, ASME USA, TSSA Canada, Hartford Inspection Agency and NA-SA Inspectors.
