CONUAR Welcomes Participants of the IAEA Lise Meitner Programme

At CONUAR, we had the honor of welcoming the participants of the Lise Meitner Programme, an outstanding initiative led by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to promote the professional development of women in the nuclear sector worldwide.

The visit, coordinated by the Argentine National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) with the support of IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, included a tour of our facilities and in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities to advance gender equity in the nuclear industry.

This gathering reaffirms our commitment to building a more inclusive, diverse, and sustainable nuclear energy future, acknowledging that female leadership is essential to addressing the complex technological and human challenges of the sector.

We are deeply grateful to all the participants of the Lise Meitner Programme for their visit, and we recognize the valuable collaboration with CNEA in strengthening the visibility and active participation of women in nuclear science and technology in Argentina.

At CONUAR, we continue working towards a nuclear future driven by equity, innovation, and social responsibility.
