CONUAR took part in FIUBA’s Engineering Week 2025

Marcelo Bercellini represented CONUAR in the nuclear energy panel, during a session that brought together leaders from the industrial, academic, and technological sectors to discuss Argentina’s energy development.

On Friday, June 6, CONUAR took part in the closing day of Engineering Week 2025, organized by the School of Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires (FIUBA), in celebration of Argentina’s Engineering Day. The event, held at the faculty’s historic building, featured the relaunch of the “Colaborar” program and a central discussion focused on nuclear energy and its role in the country’s development.

Representing CONUAR, Marcelo Bercellini joined leading specialists from key institutions such as INVAP, CNEA, COPIME, and companies from across the national nuclear ecosystem. The panel, titled “Nuclear energy: Argentine industry and engineering for national energy development”, explored challenges and opportunities in the sector from a technical and industrial perspective.

This interinstitutional forum was part of the week’s main theme: “Food and energy for Argentina’s development”, which guided a series of activities related to the hydrocarbons, food, environmental, renewable energy, and nuclear technology sectors.

The event also marked the renewed launch of “Colaborar”, an initiative that fosters collaboration between the private sector and academia, aiming to strengthen engineering education, promote applied research, and enhance industry-university connections.

At CONUAR, we value the opportunity to support these initiatives that highlight Argentine knowledge, technological development, and engineering talent, applied to strategic sectors like nuclear energy, with a direct impact on the country’s productive and energy sovereignty.
